Our history
Founded in 1991 by the late Dr. Driss HARAR, Promalab was born from a clear ambition: to support Moroccan laboratories by providing them with reagents, equipment, and solutions that meet the highest quality standards. With more than three decades of expertise, the company has established itself as a leader in its field, thanks to its expertise, rigor, and continuous commitment to its partners.
Over the years, Promalab has built its reputation on values of excellence, innovation, and trust. Supported by a highly qualified team, the company relies on dynamic management and continuous improvement of its skills to anticipate market changes and meet the growing demands of laboratory professionals.

CEO Promalab
My professional journey has always been guided by a single conviction: putting science, innovation, and excellence at the service of health. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in international research centers specializing in virology and medical research, teaching at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Casablanca, and managing the biological qualification laboratory of blood donations at the Casablanca Blood Transfusion Center.
I have also had the honor of contributing to the creation of the first civilian genetic fingerprinting laboratory in Morocco, as well as a laboratory dedicated to antibody production—achievements that reflect my ongoing commitment to the scientific and technological development of our country.
Since the end of 2004, I have joined the management team at Promalab with the determination to continue this mission, supporting Moroccan laboratories with reliable, innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards. Today, more than ever, our ambition is to continue building durable partnerships, to invest in the skills of our teams, and to actively contribute to the growth of the life sciences sector in Morocco.
